8-7-2-4 Brake and Swivel Locking Wheels Installation Procedure
1) Carefully lift the chassis sufficiently to allow insertion of the replacement wheel shaft into the wheel
securing socket.
2) Push the wheel shaft all the way up into the socket, then gently lower the chassis to the ground.
3.) Return and fasten the Allen screw (previously removed - see Figure 8-241), making sure the screw
is tightened sufficiently to secure the wheel on the chassis. Do not over-tighten the screw!
4) Return the screw cap (previously removed) by snapping it back into position (refer to Figure 8-240).
5.) Check that the wheel for free movement and proper operation of the brake by performing the
following functional checks, as appropriate:
• Front Wheel Function Test - see Table 4-20 on page 4-36
• Rear Wheel Function Test - see Table 4-21 on page 4-36
