4.) Disconnect the two USB cables from the side of the trackball (Figure 8-74).
5.) Remove the Keyboard Bottom Cover.
8-4-1-4 Keyboard Bottom Cover Installation Procedure
1.) Holding the Keyboard Bottom Cover close to the keyboard assembly (as shown in
Figure 8-74 on page 8-60) carefully reconnect the two USB cables to the side of the trackball.
2.) Return and fasten the 8 Phillips screws (previously removed) to secure the bottom cover to the
keyboard assembly - see Figure 8-73.
3.) Install the Keyboard Assembly on the system, as described in the “Keyboard Assembly Installation
Procedure” on page 8-42.
4.) Proceed to perform the following functionality tests:
- “Alphanumeric Keyboard Test” on page 4-18
- “Extended Keyboard and Trackball Test” on page 4-18
- “Speakers Tests” on page 4-21
- “Light Detector Test for Vivid S6 N only” on page 4-22
- “USB Test” on page 4-37
- “Grounding Continuity” on page 10-23
- “Chassis Current Leakage Test” on page 10-24
