M IP Address
Enter the VE-PG3’s IP Address.
q IP address ………………… Enter the LAN IP address according to your network environment.
(Default: 192.168.0.1)
Note: When using the DHCP Server function, the network part of the IP
address must be the same as that set in the [IP Pool Start Address]
item in the [DHCP Server] menu. (p.5-13)
w Subnet mask ……………… Enter the subnet mask according to your network environment.
(Default: 255.255.255.0)
( Setting example: When you set the subnet mask to “255.255.255.248”)
• IP address can be set between “192.168.0.0” and “192.168.0.7.”
• IP address for network devices can be set between “192.168.0.2 and
192.168.0.6.”
• The following IP address cannot be used for network devices.
192.168.0.0 : Network address
192.168.0.1 : VE-PG3 IP address
192.168.0.7 : Broadcast IP address
e Default gateway ………… If a default gateway device such as a router is connected to the LAN port,
enter the device’s IP address.
• When the default gateway is set to the WAN side, even if the default gate-
way is set to the LAN side, the network route is set to the WAN side.
