The SHAPE setting controls the shape of the alarm threshold. It can be set to
BOX, SECTOR, or CIRCLE.
To change the shape of the XY ALM 1 (XY alarm 1) threshold, press the ALARM
menu key ( ) twice, followed by the A key, and then rotate the knob to the
desired alarm shape.
To change the shape of XY ALM 2 (XY alarm 2) threshold, press the ALARM
menu key ( ) three times, followed by the A key, and then rotate the knob to
the desired alarm shape.
The chosen SHAPE can be adjusted using the function keys (B, C, D, and E). Table 5
on page 99 shows the function key choices for the different alarm shapes.
5.3.12.1 Changing BOX Alarm Parameters in PC Swept Mode
The following information is applicable when the XY ALM 1 (XY alarm 1) or
XY ALM 2 (XY alarm 2) menu is active and the BOX option is selected in the SHAPE
menu (see Figure 5-16 on page 100).
