7. BondMaster PC Software
The BondMaster PC software enables you to manipulate stored data, capture screen
images, upgrade the BondMaster 600 instrument software, create PDFs, issue a
command to the instrument, remotely control the instrument, unlock instrument
options, and back up and restore the BondMaster 600 instrument settings.
The BondMaster PC software program is included on CD-ROM as a standard
accessory with the BondMaster 600. This program allows a PC (computer) to
communicate with the BondMaster 600.
7.1 USB Communication
The default communication protocol for the BondMaster 600 is USB 2.0.
7.2 Screen Capture Using BondMaster PC
The BondMaster PC software allows you to capture screen images while operating the
BondMaster 600. For details about screen captures performed without
BondMaster PC, see “Hidden Function — Screen Capture” on page 72.
To capture a screen image using the BondMaster PC software
1. Start the BondMaster PC software.
2. Connect a USB cable from the PC to the instrument.
3. On the Device menu, select Capture Screen (see Figure 7-1 on page 174).
The Capture Screen dialog box opens (see Figure 7-2 on page 174).
