6. Applications
This section was prepared to help you obtain the best results, in the most efficient way
possible, for the most common BondMaster 600 applications. While other procedures
may lead to equivalent results, the steps and recommendations below reflect what
Olympus has determined to be the optimal way to use the BondMaster 600
instrument’s numerous features. In consequence, the number of steps and operations
are reduced to a minimum. Each of the following procedures can also be used as a
good starting point for drafting your own procedures based on the BondMaster 600.

The procedures in this section are intended as guidelines for optimizing the
BondMaster 600 features, facilitating the configuration of commonly used bond
testing applications, and self-training. ALWAYS closely follow an OEM procedure.
Many Olympus bond testing probes feature PowerLink technology. To fully benefit
from the numerous BondMaster 600 features, it is recommended to load an
application from the APPLICATION SELECTION menu after a PowerLink probe or
accessory has been accepted.
