1. Package Contents
The BondMaster 600 is available in two different models:
• B600: Basic instrument featuring all pitch-catch modes
• B600M: Multi-mode instrument including pitch-catch, mechanical impedance
analysis (MIA), and resonance modes
Before using the BondMaster 600 for the first time, you must inspect the package
contents to make sure there are no missing or defective items.
1.1 Unpacking
All cartons should be opened and inspected upon receipt. The cartons and contents
should be inspected for any signs of damage that may have occurred during
shipment. If damage is noted, contact the carrier and retain the damaged shipping
materials until an inspection can be performed by a representative of the carrier. With
the exception of the universal battery charger/adaptor and external accessories, all
BondMaster 600 options are installed before the instrument is shipped. Check the
contents of the carton or cartons against the packing list to ensure that all ordered
accessories have been received.
1.2 Initial Inspection
After the BondMaster 600 has been unpacked and the contents of the carton have been
checked against the packing list, a visual inspection and a basic operation test should
be performed as follows:
