Topologies
The SEL-421 Relay has a set of fixed topologies. These topologies map the volt-
ages and currents internally in the relay to maintain existing settings and func-
tionality. When the TiDL system is commissioned (see Commissioning on
page 2.44), the firmware validates the connected Axion nodes and identifies if
the installed CT/PT modules in the system match one of the supported topologies
for the SEL-421.
Ports listed as optional in the following topology diagrams do not require a
CT/PT module to be connected to them. All other ports require a CT/PT module
to be connected for the relay to verify the topology.
