Description of Commands
METER
The METER command displays reports about quantities the relay measures in
the power system (voltages, currents, frequency, remote analogs, and so on) and
internal relay operating quantities (math variables and synchronism-check val-
ues). For more information on power system measurements, see Metering on
page 7.1.
LINE, BK1, and BK2 command options generally measure feeder lines parame-
ters and circuit breaker currents, depending on relay configuration (see Current
and Voltage Source Selection on page 5.2).
MET
Use the MET command to view fundamental metering quantities. The relay fil-
ters harmonics and subharmonics to present only measured quantities at the
power system fundamental operating frequency.
The MET command without options defaults to the LINE fundamental metering
data. Specify Circuit Breaker 1 and Circuit Breaker 2 by using the BK1 and BK2
command options, respectively.
Some situations require that you repeatedly monitor the power system for a brief
period; specify a number after any MET command to automatically repeat the
command.
