X35 Monitor Air Seeder Setup
6.64
6.7.5.3 Control Settings
These settings are used to configure the monitoring
and control of the down force pressure.
1. Add
Dither - set to "Enabled" to allow the
proportional
valve to react appropriately and
prevent it from sticking.
2. Minimum PWM
- set to a minimum value
that the proportional valve will be able to drive
at.
a. Set to 5%.
3. Maximum
PWM
- set to a maximum value
that the proportional valve will be able to drive
at.
a. This can be used to limit the pressure so
it doesn’t spike when the openers are first
lowered.
i. It
is defaulted to 40%.
b. If you experience Incorrect Pack Master
Rate alarms due to not being able to
increase the pressure high enough while
operating at higher packing pressures, this
limit may need to be increased.
Figure 6.82 - Drill Control - Control Settings
4. Controller Response - sets the speed at which
the proportional valve reacts.
a. Set to Medium Slow for steady control.
5. Sensor Maximum Pressure - this is the
maximum pressure range setting for the sensor.
If the physical pressure gauge is not matching
the X35 then confirm that the sensor is
stamped with the corresponding pressure range.
a. 2500 psi (17237 kPa) for 3320 & 3420
b. 1500 psi (10342 kPa) for 3720
6. Sensor
Minimum Voltage - this
is the
minimum voltage value for the pressure sensor.
a. It should be set to 0.50 V.
7. Sensor
Maximum Voltage - this
is the
maximum voltage value for the pressure
sensor.
a. It should be set to 4.50 V.
