3.2 Fitting
⇒ Clean guide bars 6, seating surfaces on water separator 3 and frame 11 as
well as the areas of round rubber cords 13 and 14.
⇒ Attach holder 94667f on the opposite side.
⇒ Mount the required tools on the water separator and bring the latter in fitting
position but in reverse sequence to the removal.
⇒ Before inserting the water separator, fit a new round rubber cords 13 (L =
2840 mm) around rod 10 (Fig. ’B’). Subsequently the cord ends must be glued
together.
⇒ Lubricate well guide bars as well as round rubber cord and then carefully fit the
water separator into the .
⇒ After inserting the water separator, carefully fit a new round rubber cord 14
(L = 3690 mm). Subsequently the cord ends must be glued together.
⇒ Oil the threads of screws 8 (18 pieces) and fit them together with their inter-
mediate rings 7. Tighten all screws with 170 Nm paying thereby attention to
the correct seating of the round rubber cords (Fig. ’B’).
⇒ Refit cover 5 (60 kg) to receiver 1.
D Install the platform, support and the corresponding bottom plates.
