Chapter 96 Remote ONT
OLT2406 User’s Guide
676
This example creates a traffic class mapping rule. The traffic class allocates bandwidth which will be
used for the UNI port vlan.
Before creating the traffic class rule, create the QoS bandwidth profile that controls the upstream and
downstream rates of the UNI port VLAN.
Qos bandwidth example:
qos bwprof 0MSir_0MAir_1GPir sir 0 air 0 pir 1200000
qos bwprof 20m sir 1024 air 2048 pir 20000
qos bwprof 40m sir 1024 air 2048 pir 40000
queue tc <tc> bwgroup <1-40>
<cr>
Configures a queue for a bandwidth group of
the UNI port.
tc: The IEEE 802.1P QoS traffic class 0~7 of traffic
to which to apply this queue.
bwgroup <1-40>: The bandwidth group id.
The parameters not configured through this
command will use the default values:
• Priority: 0
•Weight: 0
• usbwprofname: It will use the one set in the
remote ont bwgroup command.
• dsbwprofname: It will use the one set in the
remote ont bwgroup command.
• dsoption: olt
• dsbwsharegroupid: It will be the same as the
bwgroup id.

queue tc <tc> bwgroup <1-40>
[us <bwprofname> ds
<bwprofname>] [dsoption
<olt|ont>]
Configures a queue for a bandwidth group of
the UNI port.
tc: The IEEE 802.1P QoS traffic class 0~7 of traffic
to which to apply this queue.
bwgroup <1-40>: The bandwidth group id.
usbwprofname: The upstream and
downstream bandwidth profiles to use for the
traffic class.
dsoption: olt|ont. Set whether to apply the
downstream rate limit function to the OLT (olt) or
the ONT (ont).
The parameters not configured through this
command will use the default values:
• Priority: 0
•Weight: 0
• dsbwsharegroupid: It will be the same as the
bwgroup id.
