Purpose

Sets the estimated time it takes to transmit a link state update.

Command Syntax

configure interface cable-mac <mac[.s]> ip ospf transmit-delay <time>

configure interface cable-mac <mac[.s]> ip ospf transmit-delay [<time>] no

Supplemental

Information

To disable OSPF transmit-delay, use the no option.

Parameters

<mac[.s]>

The MAC identifier and optional sub interface.

<time>

Seconds required to transmit a link state update from 0 to 3600.
