Chapter 21: Integrated Upstream Agility
STANDARD Revision 1.0 C4® CMTS Release 8.3 User Guide
© 2016 ARRIS Enterprises LLC. All Rights Reserved. 679
Use the following command to remove a trigger:
configure cable spectrum-group trigger <trigger_ID> no
Where: trigger_ID is a pointer to a global trigger that can be used for all state machines. Range = 1-64.
This command does not remove the trigger if it is referenced in a state machine.
Use the following command to delete a particular state_ID from the state machine:
configure cable spectrum-group <SM_ID> state <State_ID> no
Where: SM_ID is the state machine identifier. Range = 1-40.
state_ID is a pointer to a state defined within the state machine. Range = 1-16.
The state may not be removed if the state machine is assigned to an upstream channel. Also, the state may not be deleted
if there are triggers in the state transition table for the specified SM_ID that reference this state either as the current or
next state.
Use the following command to delete a particular state machine:
configure cable spectrum-group <SM_ID> no
Where: SM_ID is the state machine identifier. Range = 1-40.
If the deleted state machine is associated with one or more upstream channels, then this command also serves to disable
Upstream Agility on those channels. Once a state machine is deleted, no state information is maintained for it. Re-creating
the state machine by using the same SM_ID does not cause the new state machine to be automatically enabled on the
upstream channels to which it was previously associated.
Show Commands
Use the following show command to display the Upstream Agility state machines and their current states for a given MAC
domain:
show interface cable-mac [<cable-mac>] spectrum-group
Where: cable-mac is the number of the MAC domain of the spectrum group. Range = 0415.
Note: If there is no output returned by the show command, then no spectrum groups have been applied to the MAC
domain targeted by the command.
