config snmp system_contact
Purpose To enter the name of a cont
act person who is responsible for the
Switch.
Syntax
config snmp system_contact <string 128>
Description
The config snmp system_contact command is used to enter the
name and/or other information to identify a contact person who is
responsible for the Switch. A maximum of 128 characters
used.
Parameters
<string 128> − A maximum of 128
characters is allowed. A NULL
string is accepted if there is no contact.
Restrictions Only Administrator or operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To configure the Switch contact to “MIS”:
DGS-1210-28MP/ME:5# config snmp system_contact MIS
Command: config snmp system_contact MIS
Success.
DGS-1210-28MP/ME:5#
config snmp system_location
Purpose To enter a Description of the location of the Switch.
Syntax
config snmp system_location <string 128>
