config traffic trap
Purpose To configure the traffic control trap on the Switch.
Syntax
config traffic trap [storm_cleared | storm_occured | both | none]
Description
The config traffic trap command configures the current storm traffic
trap configuration on the Switch.
Parameters
storm_cleared – A notification will be generated when a storm event
is cleared.
storm_occured – A notification will be generated when a storm event
is detected.
both –
A notification will be generated both when a storm event is
detected and cleared.
none –
No notification will be generated when storm event is
detected or cleared.
Restrictions Only administrator or operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To configure traffic trap setting:
DGS-1210-28MP/ME:5# config traffic trap storm_cleared
Command: config traffic trap storm_cleared
Success.
