RMON Configuration
ThischapterdescribesthecommandsusedtoconfigureRMONonaD‐Seriesswitch.
RMON Monitoring Group Functions
RMON(RemoteNetworkMonitoring)providescomprehensivenetworkfaultdiagnosis,
planning,andperformancetuninginformationandallowsforinteroperabilitybetweenSNMP
managementstationsandmonitoringagents.RMONextendstheSNMPMIBcapabilityby
definingadditionalMIBsthatgenerateamuchrichersetofdataaboutnetworkusage.
