Usage
IftherearemorefirstarrivalMACsthantheallowedmaximumstaticMACs,thenonlythelatest
firstarrivalMACswillbemovedtostaticentries.Forexample,ifyousetthemaximumnumberof
staticMACsto2withthesetmaclockstaticcommand,andthenexecutedthesetmaclock
move
command,eventhoughtherewerefiveMACsinthefirstarrivaltable,onlythetwomostrecent
MACentrieswouldbemovedtostaticentries.

Whenenabled,thisfeatureauthorizestheswitchtosendanSNMPtrapmessageifanendstation
isconnectedthatexceedsthemaximumvaluesconfiguredusingthesetmaclockfirstarrivaland
setmaclockstaticcommands.ViolatingMA Caddressesaredroppedfromthedevice’sfiltering
database.
