V GAIN (vertical gain)
The V GAIN setting controls the vertical (Y) gain, and applies to RUNs using an
XY display.
To change the V GAIN, press the MAIN menu key ( ) once or twice
(depending on the RUN selected), followed by the D key, and then rotate the knob
to the desired value.
ANGLE
The ANGLE setting only applies to RUNs that use an XY display. This parameter
permits rotational control of the signals that appear in the XY display. This
parameter is useful, for example, if you want the angle for a far-side disbond
(defect) to be different from the angle for a near-side disbond.
To change the ANGLE, press the MAIN menu key ( ) once or twice
(depending on the RUN selected), followed by the E key, and then rotate the knob
to the desired value.
REP RATE (repetition rate)
The REP RATE (repetition rate) setting controls the repetition rate of the tone
burst.
To change the REP RATE setting, press the MAIN menu key ( ) followed by
the C key, and then rotate the knob to the desired repetition rate.
PRB DRV (probe drive)
The BondMaster 600 has three levels of probe drive: LOW, MEDIUM, and HIGH.
The approximate peak-to-peak voltages are 2 V, 6 V, and 12 V, respectively.
To adjust the probe-drive level, press the MAIN menu key ( ) two times,
followed by the D key. With PRB DRV highlighted, rotate the knob to the desired
level.
LP FILTER
The LP FILTER setting only applies to RUNs that use an XY display. Adjust this
parameter to smooth the signal in the XY display.
To change the LP FILTER, press the MAIN menu key ( ) two or three times
(depending on the RUN selected), followed by the E key, and then rotate the knob
to the desired value.
