Clutch pedal: Removal - Refitting

REMOVAL
I - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a Remove the nut (4) from the pedal shaft (2) .
a Pull the shaft (2) to free the clutch pedal.
a Remove the clutch pedal (3) .
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
a Coat the shaft with MOLYCOTE 33M grease (see
Vehicle: Parts and consumables for the repair)
(MR 388, 04B, Consumables - Products).
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Fit the pedal shaft.
a Refit the pedal shaft nut.
a Torque tighten the pedal shaft nut (21 Nm).
a Check that the whole clutch system operates cor-
rectly.
Tightening torquesm
pedal shaft nut 21 Nm

Do not hit the shaft with a hammer to get it to go
back into place.
