Tailgate strut: Removal - Refitting

REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Note the direction in which the tailgate gas strut is fit-
ted before removal.
II - REMOVAL OPERATION
a At (1) , unclip the clips (2) using a flat-blade screw-
driver without removing them.
a Remove the tailgate strut while holding the tailgate.
REFITTING
a Position the clips on the tailgate strut.
a Proceed in the reverse order to removal.
