REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see ) (02A,
Lifting equipment.
a Unlock the steering column.
a Remove the front wheel (see 35A, Wheels and ty-
res, Wheel: Removal - Refitting, page 35A-1) .
a
a Mark the position of the cap on the base of the shock
absorber using a indelible pencil (1) .
a Unclip:
-the wiring (2) of the wheel speed sensor from the
brake hose mounting,
- the cap (3) of the brake hose mounting.
a Remove:
- the bolt (4) of the brake hose mounting,
- the brake hose mounting.

IMPORTANT
To avoid all risk of damage to the systems, apply
the safety and cleanliness instructions and opera-
tion recommendations before carrying out any
repair (see 31A, Front axle components, Front
axle components: Precautions for the repair,
page 31A-1) .
Note:
Make sure the colours of the springs and shock
absorbers are identical with the spare parts.
