REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Disconnect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Re-
fitting) (80A, Battery).
a Position the pedal press on the brake pedal to limit
the outflow of brake fluid.
a Remove the soundproofing clips from the bulkhead.
a Move the soundproofing away from the bulkhead to
access the hydraulic brake unit.
II - REMOVAL OPERATION
a Remove:
- the hydraulic brake unit earth wire nut (1) ,
- the hydraulic brake unit earth wire (2) .
a Unclip the earth wire from the hydraulic brake unit at
(3) .
a Disconnect the hydraulic brake unit connector (4) .
a Unscrew the rigid pipe unions (5) from the hydraulic
brake unit.
a Fit blanking plugs on the openings of the hydraulic
unit and brake pipes.

repair:

WARNING
Prepare for the flow of fluid, and protect the sur-
rounding components.
