REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Disconnect the battery (see 80A, Battery, Battery:
Removal - Refitting, page 80A-2) (80A, Battery).
1 - Passenger compartment rear wiring section on
the floor
a Remove:
- the floor carpet (see Roof trim assembly: Explod-
ed view) (71A, Body internal trim),
- the B-pillar trim (see Interior body side trim as-
sembly: Exploded view) (71A, Body internal trim).
a Lift up the rear bench seat base.
2 - Passenger compartment rear wiring section
under the floor.
a Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle:
Towing and lifting) (02A, Lifting equipment).
a Move the fuel tank away (see Fuel tank: Removal -
Refitting) (19C, Tank).
3 - Passenger compartment rear wiring section on
the body
a Remove (see Interior body side trim assembly:
Exploded view) (71A, Body internal trim):
- the C-pillar trims,
- the parcel shelf side trims,
