To re-program any of the values shown on the programming menu, type in the number in the "#" column, and
then press [ENTER]. The parameter will be displayed, with information about its setting below it. Type in the
new setting, and then press [ENTER].
EXAMPLE:
To change the phase bias setting from 1.5 amperes to 3.0 amperes, type in the following:
9300-P> 20 [ENTER]
The Phase Bias parameter will be displayed, with information about its setting below it.
020 Phase Bias 1.5 amps
[1.0:8.0](in 0.5 increments)> _
The first number in the brackets indicates the lowest value allowed for this parameter; in this case,
1.0. The second number is the highest allowed value; in this case, 8.0. The statement in the parenthe-
ses indicates the incremental steps permitted; in this case, 0.5 (1.5, 2.0, 2.5, etc).
To set the phase bias to 3.0 amperes, type in "3.0," and then press [ENTER]. The Phase Bias pa-
rameter will be re-displayed, set to the new value. Settings must be saved in accordance with para-
graph 6.5.12.3, or they will be lost.

EXAMPLE:
The RESET DISP. ALRM parameter is usually set to "NO." This is the reset for the display controller
alarm and LED signal. It is the same as pressing the RESET switch on the front of the display control-
ler. To reset the RFL 9300 using your terminal, type in the following:
9300-P> 122 [ENTER]
The Reset Disp. Alrm parameter will be displayed, with information about its setting below it.
122 Reset Disp. Alrm No
[Y:N]> _
Type in "Y," and then press [ENTER]. The Reset Disp. Alrm parameter will be re-displayed, set to the
new value.
122 Reset Disp. Alrm Yes
The display controller alarms will be reset when the parameter changes are saved, and the target in-
dicators will be turned off. If a trip is active when the reset is attempted, the reset will be ignored. (See
para. 6.5.12.3 for more information on saving parameters.)
