5. Once the fuse has been checked or replaced, place the power switch in the ON position.
If all three green LED indicators on the power supply front panel light, the power supply
is working properly. If all three indicators do not light or if the fuse blows again, the
power supply is defective and should be replaced.
28.5 CORRECTIVE MAINTENANCE
The RFL 9300 Charge Comparison System has been designed for years of trouble-free service. Should a mal-
function occur involving the RFL 9300, use standard troubleshooting techniques to determine if the problem is in
the RFL 9300 or in some other connected equipment. If the problem lies within the RFL 9300, use the schemat-
ics in Sections 9 through 25 of this manual to determine which module is defective. Once this is done, replace
the module. This should solve the problem.
Defective modules can be repaired locally, or they can be returned to RFL for repair as described below.
28.6 HOW TO ARRANGE FOR SERVICING
If necessary, RFL 9300 modules and subassemblies may be returned to RFL Electronics Inc. for repair. Contact
our Customer Service Department using the telephone number at the bottom of this page. You will be given an
authorization number and shipping instructions.
