15.1 DESCRIPTION
The RFL 93 LC I/O Line Coupler I/O Module (Fig. 15-1) acts as a barrier between the telephone lines and the RFL
93B MO Modem Module. Its design incorporates isolation transformers (one for incoming signals and one for out-
going signals) which are designed for 600-ohm impedances, which are common in most telephone leased line cir-
cuits.
15.2 CONTROLS AND INDICATORS
The RFL 93 LC I/O has no controls or indicators; it is a passive module. There is a four-position terminal block on
its rear panel which provides connections to a four-wire telephone line:
4W TX Connect to terminals 1 and 2.
4W RX Connect to terminals 3 and 4.
