Installation
Before doing the procedure, turn off the main power switch and unplug the machine
from its power source.
1. Remove the SD card slot cover (
x1). ( p.3-73 "Removing the SD Card Slot Cover")
2. Insert the SD card into Slot 1.
3. Reconnect the machine and turn it on.
4. Push [User Tools].
5. Push [Login/Logout] on the operation panel
6. Login with the administrator user name and password.
7. Touch [Extended Feature Settings].
8. Touch [Extended Feature Settings] again.
9. Touch [SD Card].
10. Touch the [Browser] line.
11. Under "Install to:" touch [Machine HDD] then touch [Next]
12. When you see "Ready to Install", check the information on the screen to confirm the
previous selection.
13. Touch [OK]. You will see "Installing…" then "Completed".
14. Touch [Exit] twice to return to the copy screen.
15. Turn the machine off.
16. Remove the SD card for the Browser unit from Slot 1, then reattach the SD card slot cover.
17. Turn the machine power on.
18. Open the Browser screen from the "Extended Feature Settings" in User Tools. A message
appears if the installation was successful:
"The MFP Browser was successfully installed."
