2Doaclosevisualinspectionofthephysicalpropertiesoftheinstallationtrunkand
thewayithasbeeninstalled.
Refertotheapplicablerequirements.
aMakesurethattheuppersurfaceoftheinstallationtrunkislevel,undamaged
andclean.
bMakesurethattheinstallationtrunkhasbeenproperlystiffenedinboththe
fore-and-aftandathwartshipdirectionsbymeansofstrengtheningkneeplates.
cMakesurethattheinstallationtrunkhasbeenproperlybracedtothehull
platingandthesurroundinghullframes.
3Doaclosevisualinspectionoftheblisterandthehullplatingclosetothe
installationtrunk.
Checkforanykindofobjectsthatmaycausenoise.
4Makesurethatallsurfacesareprotectedwithahighqualitycoating.
5Makesurethattheinside
oftheinstallationtrunkisalsoprotectedwithcoating.
6Fillintheresulttables.

Thetopsurfaceoftheinstallationtrunkiscleanwithoutsand,dustorany
otherdestructiveparticles.Isisevenandsmoothwithoutscratches,dents
orotherphysicaldamage.
Theinstallationtrunkhasbeenproperlystiffenedinboththefore-and-aft
andathwartshipdirectionsbymeansofstrengtheningkneeplates.
Theinstallationtrunkhasbeenproperlybracedtothehullplatingandthe
surroundinghullframes.
