connecttheProcessorUnittotheTransceiverUnit.

Procedure
1Preparethepowercables,butdonot
connectanyunitstoACmainspower.
aConnectthepowercablefromtheuninterruptiblepowersupply(UPS)tothe
ACpoweroutlet.(C23)
bConnectthepowercablefromtheTransceiverUnittothepoweroutletonthe
uninterruptiblepowersupply(UPS).(C22)
cConnectthepowercablefromtheheatexchangertothepoweroutletonthe
uninterruptiblepowersupply(UPS).(C31)
StandardcommercialACmainscablesareused.Eachcableissuppliedwiththe
relevantunit.Thetypicalcablelengthisbetween1,5and2meters.Ifthisistoo
shortyoumustuseanextensioncable(not
recommended),mountanewpower
outletwithinrange,ormakeyourownpowercablewithsufcientlength.

2ConnectthegroundcablefromtheTransceiverUnittovesselground.
ThegroundingcablefortheTransceiverUnitisnotlisted.Thegroundingcableisa
specialbraidedwirethatisphysicallyconnectedtothecabinet.Itisconnectedto
vesselgroundbymeansofthecabinet’sshockabsorbers.
3Connectthegroundcablefromthehullunitmountingangetovesselground.(C20)
Adedicatedgroundingcableisprovidedwiththehullunit.Oneendofthecableis
alreadyfastenedtothehullunitmountingange.Theotherendmustbeconnected
tovesselgroundclosetothehullunit.Thelengthofthecableis2metres.Use
16mmboltsorscrews.
4ConnecttheEthernetcablefromtheTransceiverUnittotheMotorControlUnit.
