Werecommendthatsupportbracketsareplacedpointingatminimumthreedirections
withapproximately120degreesbetweenthem.
Theforcestowhichthehullunitisexposeddependsonthephysicalsizeofthe
installation,whereitislocated,andthevessel'sbehaviourinroughsea.Itisvery
importantthatthehullunitissufcientlysupported,astheforcesitisexposedtomay
affectboththephysicalinstallationandthevessel'ssafety.
Themechanicalsupportbracketsmustbedesignedandmanufacturedbytheinstallation
shipyardtotthecompleteinstallationinthesonarroom.Allcalculationsmadeto
supportthedesignmustmeettheapplicablesafetyrequirements,andapplytothe
physicalpropertiesofthehullandtheinstallation.
Note
Thenaldesignandtheinstallationmustbeapprovedbytheclassicationsociety.
Withoutapropermechanicalsupportforthehullunitgantry,theguaranteewillbevoid!

ThisO-ringensuresawatertightconnectionbetweentheinstallation
trunkandthebottomofthetransducershaftsleeve.Duringthe
installationprocess,makesurethatthisO-ringiskeptsafefrom
damage,andthatthetopoftheinstallationtrunkiskeptclean,
smoothandwithoutphysicaldamagesuchasscratchesordents.
ProperO-ringlubricationmustbeappliedbeforethehullunitis
mountedontopoftheinstallationtrunk.
