Prerequisites
TheST90isturnedoff.
Thecircuitbreakerforthe3-phase
ACpowerisdisengaged.
Allcableconnectionsaremade.
Youmustbeequippedwitha
standardsetoftools.Thistoolset
mustcomprisethenormaltoolsfor
electronicandelectromechanical
tasks.Thisincludesdifferent
screwdrivertypes,pliers,spanners,
acablestripper,asolderingiron,etc.
Eachtoolmustbeprovidedinvarious
sizes.Werecommendthatalltools
aredemagnetizedtoprotectyour
equipment.Thefollowingspecic
instrumentisrequiredforthistask:

TerminalblockE301islocatedatthebottomoftheMotorControlUnit.ThethreeAC
mainspowercables,aswellasground,areconnectedfromtheship’scircuitbreakers
toE301.
WARNING
Highvoltagesareused.Thisequipmentmustbeservicedonlybyqualied
personnelfamiliarwithhigh-voltageequipmentandthepotentialhazards
involved.Failuretoobservethisprecautioncouldresultinbodilyinjury.
Thefollowingrequirementmustbemet:
The3-phaseACpowercablehasbeencorrectlyconnectedtoterminalblockE301.
Theappliedvoltageismeasured.
Thereleasecurrentisadjusted.
Procedure
1LocatetheMotorProtectingSwitch(S301).SettheswitchtopositionOFF.
2LocateHoist/LowerSwitch(S302).CheckthattheswitchisinpositionSTOP.
