AvisualinspectionoftheST90displayisrequiredtoverifythattheunithasnotbeen
physicallydamagedduringtheinstallation.
Prerequisites
TheST90isinstalledasspeciedinthismanual.TheST90isturnedoff.Youneed
thefollowingequipment:
•Multimeter
Context
ThistestprocedureisonlyapplicablewhenthedisplayisprovidedbyKongsberg
MaritimeasapartoftheST90delivery.
Procedure
1Makesurethatthedisplayisinstalledinthecorrectlocation,andthatitissuitably
orientatedwithrespecttoambientlightconditionsandreections.
2Makesurethatthephysicalinstallationoftheunithasbeencompleted.
aMakesurethatthestructuretowhichthedisplayisfastenedissubstantial
enoughtoholdtheunitsecurelyunderalloperatingconditions.
bIfapplicable,makesurethatthedisplay(orthedisplaymountingbracket)is
boltedorweldedsecurelytothedeckand/orbulkhead.
cIftheunitisinstalledinsidearackorinaclosedcompartment,makesurethat
ampleventilationisprovidedtoavoidoverheating.
