Youmustbeequippedwithastandardsetoftools.Thistoolsetmustcomprise
thenormaltoolsforelectronictesting,aswellasthenecessarytoolsforrelevant
disassembly/assemblyofpartsfortestaccess.Eachtoolmustbeprovidedinvarious
sizes.Werecommendthatalltoolsaredemagnetizedtoprotectyourequipment.
Context
Highvoltagesareused.Thisequipmentmustbeservicedonlybyqualiedpersonnel
familiarwithhigh-voltageequipmentandthepotentialhazardsinvolved.Failureto
observethisprecautioncouldresultinbodilyinjury.
Procedure
1Makesurethatthe3-phaseACpowerisdisconnected,andthatthecircuitbreakers
aredisengagedintheship’sfusebox.
2UseaspannertoopenthedoorontheMotorControlUnit.
3LocatetheMotorProtectingSwitch(S301).CheckthattheswitchisinpositionOFF.
4LocateHoist/LowerSwitch(S302).CheckthattheswitchisinpositionSTOP.
