Unit.Forimprovedoperationalaccuracy,anexternalmotionreferenceunit(MRU)
maybeused.Thistaskisonlyapplicableisyouareusinganexternalmotionreference
unitonyourST90.
Prerequisites
Thisprocedureassumesthat:
YouhaveavacantinterfaceportonyourProcessorUnit.
YouarefamiliarwithNMEAandotherrelevantdatagramformats.
Youknowhowtosetuptheparametersforserialandlocalareanetwork(LAN)
communication.
Theinterfaceportissetupwiththecorrectcommunicationparameters.
TheST90isturnedon,anditisworkingnormally.
ThenewsensorisphysicallyconnectedtotheST90usingaserialornetworkcable.It
isswitchedonandinnormaloperation.
Neithertoolsnorinstrumentsarerequired.

sea.TheinformationprovidedbythemotionsensorisusedbytheST90tostabilizethe
beamsandtheechopresentation.
