OncethetransceiverplugisconnectedtotheTransceiverUnit,
andthetransducerissubmergedinwater,theST90canbeset
totransmit("ping").
Caution
YoumustneverstartST90transmissions("pinging")when
theshipisindrydock.Thetransducermaybedamagedifit
transmitsinopenair.
Procedure
1Makesurethattheplughousingiscleanandnotdamaged
inanyway.
2Makesurethatthegasketiscleanandnotdamagedin
anyway.
3Mountthetransceiverplug.
aHoldtheplughousingontopofthesocket.
bPushthepluggentlyinplace.
Toavoidunnecessarystrainontheconnectors,youmustinsertthetransceiver
plugstraightin.
cInserttheboltscarefully,andmakesurethattheyttothethreads.
Usetheboltsandwashersprovidedfortheprotectingcover.
