Itisimportantthatthisunpackingisdonewithoutinictingdamagetotheequipment.

Context
Mechanicalandelectromechanicalunitsmaybeheavy.
Hullunitsprovidedforsonarsystemsareprovidedwiththetransduceralreadymounted.
Note
Thetransducerisadelicateitem.Makesurethatitisnotexposedtophysicaldamage
duringthestorage,unpacking,liftingandinstallationofthehullunit.Thetransduceris
protectedwithaboxshapedfoam.Donotremovethisprotectionuntilthenalstagesof
thehullunitinstallation.
Atransducermustalwaysbehandledasadelicateinstrument.Incorrectactionsmay
damagethetransducerbeyondrepair.
Observethesetransducerhandlingrules:
Donotactivatethetransducerwhenitisoutofthewater.
Donothandlethetransducerroughlyandavoidimpacts.
Donotexposethetransducertodirectsunlightorexcessiveheat.
Donotusehigh-pressurewater,sandblasting,metaltoolsorstrongsolventstoclean
thetransducerface.
Donotdamagetheouterprotectiveskinofthetransducer.
Procedure
1Obtainthenecessaryliftingequipment,andmakesurethattheequipmentis
certiedfortheweight.
2Lifttheunitoutofthetransportationbox.
