Whenyouhandleelectroniccircuitboardsandmodules,youmustbewareofthedangers
ofelectrostaticdischarge(ESD),bothtoyourselfandtotheequipment.Inorderto
ensuresafetransportandstorage,circuitboardsandotherelectronicunitswillalwaysbe
wrappedinaclearplasticprotectivebag,andthebagwillbesealed.
Note
Failuretofollowtheserulesmayresultinanunserviceablecircuitboardormodule.
Procedure
1Placethecircuitboardormoduleinthesameprotectiveantistaticpackingbagas
youoriginallyreceiveditin.
Ifyoudohavethisbag,useaprotectivebagofsimilarelectrostaticdischarge(ESD)
protectionquality.
Note
DONOTuseastandardplasticbag,suchasacommercialbubblewrap.
2Fillinallthenecessaryinformationontheapplicableform,orproviderelevant
informationinadocument.Placethedocumentationinsidethebag.
3Sealtheantistaticpackingbag.
4Placethecircuitboardormoduleinasuitabletransportcontainer,andsecureit
forshipping.
