43. DynaCal Average Weight Difference
(9000AS) - this alerts if the measured (actual)
weight is changing at a different rate than the
theoretical weight based on the cal factor.
Note
This DynaCal version for the 9000AS has logic to
automatically lower the threshold as more product is
metered out. This will allow it to detect larger errors
at the start and then continually get more accurate
the longer you operate to fine-tune the application.
- If the error detected is over 10% then the
alarm will direct the operator to inspect for
physical issues and re-perform a stationary
calibration to confirm the application rate.
- If the error detected is under 10% then the
alarm will show a suggested new cal factor
that can be entered and seeding continued
to adjust to the correct application rate.
IMPORTANT
If the alarm repeatedly shows up suggesting the
cal factor be adjusted back and forth or by large
amounts then the system should be inspected for
issues.
a. Scale - change which scale channel you
are setting the parameters for.
b. Minimum Thr
eshold - sets the minimum
error that will be detected. The default is
set to 4% to prevent continual alerts that
the cal factor is slightly out. For lower
rate tanks this can be decreased to achieve
higher accuracy if desired.
c. Rolling A
verage - t
his is the different time
interval that the alarm is monitoring. Only
the long term alarm is being used for now.
They can be disabled individually for each
scale channel (tank). If the scale weight
alarm needs to be disabled for a specific
tank then all of these intervals will need to
be set to disabled.
d. Rolling Average Alarm State - set to
disabled for any scale channel (tank) to
turn it off.
