QSFP Optical Transceivers
l EEPROM of each fiber-optic transceiver includes information about the transceiver
itself such as vendor code, wavelength, data rates and other relevant factory
parameters. It also includes information specifically from the ADVA Optical
Networking device code, serial number, and so forth. You can query the transceiver to
make sure it is the right one for the intended application.
l On-board digital diagnostics that provide remote monitoring capability
l Measurements and real-time monitoring of:
