Obtaining an ADVA Optical Networking RMA Number 451

Overview
Before you send in any damaged or defective hardware for manufacturer repair or
replacement, you must obtain an RMA number from ADVA Optical Networking. This
number confirms that you can return the defective hardware for repair. ADVA Optical
Networking will not process shipments they receive without an RMA number and will
return those shipments to senders at their expense. An RMA number is required for each
shipment.

l Installation Safety Guidelines and Warnings
Required Tools and Equipment
l Computer with access to the Internet
l Printer
l Information for the repair and return request-form (RRF)

number, and E-mail address

Item number and serial number of the unit to be repaired
o
Description of the problem with the damaged or faulty unit
