Prerequisites for Connecting the AC Power
Prerequisites for Connecting the AC Power
l The site wiring systems must be installed in accordance with your national and local
electrical safety standards.
l Site wiring must include a protective ground connection to the ACpower source.
l The ACPSM should be the only appliance in the supply circuit.
l Each PSMmust use a separate AC power source outlet, maintaining power
redundancy.
l The dedicated power source outlets are easily accessible and located close to the
PSMs. The supplied AC power cables are approximately 2.5 m (8.203 ft) long.
l The line voltage and frequency to be used are the same as indicated on the shelf
supply values label located on each shelf.
l The plug-socket combinations must be accessible at all times, because they serve as
the main disconnecting device in case of an emergency.
