4. Move the other end of the baffle towards the shelf’s side panel so that the threaded
hole and the hole in the baffle line up.
5. Use the Torx T10 screwdriver and the screws to affix the side panel to the shelf.

6. Repeat Steps 2 through 5 for the air vent on the bottom of this side.
7. Repeat Steps 2 through 6 for the opposite side of the shelf.

Installing Side Air Covers
This procedure assumes that:
l The shelf is unpacked and inspected;
l It is damage-free;
l The shelf is on a static-dissipative mat; and
l It did not come with the side air covers preinstalled and your
installation scenario requires them to be installed.
1. Verify that you are properly grounded with an anti-static wrist strap or heel strap
connected to the grounded ESD jack.
2. Use the Torx T10 screwdriver to remove the screws that affix the side panel to the
shelf.
