Label Color Status Probable Cause Troubleshooting Steps
Mod Green On steadily Normal operation. No action is required.
Yellow On steadily The module exceeds
the rated output
current (90% load).
Check if the power connection
complies with the module
specification.
Red On steadily The module has
failed due to
excessive output
current (> 100%
load), high
temperature, or a
hardware fault.
Return the module to ADVA Optical
Networking.
Dark (unlit) Off The module is not
provisioned or no
power is supplied to
the module.
1. Use the management software
to ensure that the module is
correctly provisioned.
2. Check whether the power cable
is properly connected to the
module and deliver the required
power.
3. If the power connection is
operational, return the module to
ADVA Optical Networking.
