High-Density Subshelf Configuration
The FSP 3000R7 supports high-density (HD) shelves and equipment. The HD equipment
increases the equipment density for services of 100 Gb/s and higher. This figure shows
an example of the HDconfiguration using the SH9HU and SH12 shelves. This
configuration can support up to six HD shelves.

In the preceding example, the FSP 3000R7 shelf connects to the
appropriate CEMfor the SH12 or SH4R HD shelf. For the SH1R HD
shelf, the FSP 3000R7 shelves connect to an ECM-3 management port.
