IEEE 1394 Interface Cable
The IEEE 1394 interface cable (IC300/PSCU/IEEE1394 - Sales Item Number
1036000570) is a standard FireWire 400 cable.
The IEEE 1394 interface cable is 3 meters (9.84 ft) in length. The ends of this six-wire
cable are assembled with 6-pin male IEEE-1394 connector plugs. The IEEE 1394
interface cable ships with the appropriate shelf. The user of a cable other than that
delivered by ADVA Optical Networking will void the warranty and the EMC certificate.
Even though some HDcomponents use FireWire connectors to
interconnect, the connectors do not support the FireWire protocol or
pinouts.
Depending on the shelf location, there might be excess cable length.
Secure any excess cable to facilitate safe maintenance activities and
proper operation.
