Replacing the SH4R and SH4R-2 Air Filter
Pads
1. Verify that you are properly grounded with an anti-static wrist strap or heel strap
connected to the grounded ESD jack.
2. If installed, remove the front cover from the shelf as described in Removing and
Installing Front Covers.
3. Use a Torx T10 screwdriver to unscrew the retaining thumb screw from the air filter.
4. Grasp the handle and carefully slide the air filter out of the shelf.

5. Place the air filter on a static-dissipative mat.
6. Use a Torx T10 screwdriver to unscrew the retaining thumb screw from the air filter
case.

7. Gently slide the case open.
