Replacing the SH4R and SH4R-2 Air Filter Pads

8. Use your fingers to carefully remove the dirty air filter pad away from each air duct.

9. Place a new replacement air filter pad in front of each air duct.
10. Gently slide the case closed.
11. Use a Torx T10 screwdriver to screw the retaining thumb screw.
12. Insert the air filter back into the shelf.
13. Gently apply pressure to the faceplate while pushing the air filter into the slot.
14. Push on the faceplate to fully seat the air filter. It is completely inserted when its
faceplate is flush with the back plate of the shelf.
15. After you have completely inserted the air filter, hand-tighten the retaining screw to
prevent inadvertent dislodging.
16. Use a Torx T10 screwdriver to gently tighten the retaining screw as needed. Do not
overtighten.
17. Reinstall the front cover as described in Removing and Installing Front Covers.
18. Properly dispose of the dirty air filter pads.
