A dirty air filter pad negatively influences cooling efficiency. Replace
dirty air filter pads at least once a year. ADVA Optical Networking
recommends replacing the air filter pad every 90 days in
environments without air filtration.
Required Tools and Equipment
l ESD-preventive wrist strap or other personal grounding device
l Suitable grounded surface or a static-dissipative mat
l Appropriate air filter pads
l Screwdriver (0,8 mm x max. 6 mm) (for SH12)
l Torx T10 screwdriver (for SH4R, SH4R-2, and SH1R)
Use only ADVA Optical Networking original air filter pads for
replacement.
