Power Cables
The type of power cables you use depends on the type of DC power supplies and the
voltages used.
The actual length of each DC power cable depends on the location of the
shelf within the rack and its proximity to the DC power source. Therefore,
you need to cut each power cable to the proper length and have the
appropriate connectors.
As the customer, you are responsible for assembling the appropriate
terminal connectors at the wiring end that is attached to the external DC
power source.
You should not twist or plait the separate multiple-wire stranded
copper conductor because that reduces the ampacity of the cable.
